Although I'm struggling so far to see how this ties in to the ending of Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle (which I think is intentional from the way the story is unfolding), this is definitely looking to be the best of the Runaway games. The interface is miles better, the graphics are improved, not 100% sure about the puzzles yet but they seem okay, and the help feature is very cool. One of the worst things about the first game in particular (Runaway: A Road Adventure) was the pixel-hunting; the option to show all hotspots (fast becoming an essential element of modern-day adventure games!) largely eliminates this.
It's looking very good so far, though initial play-testing has been somewhat disrupted because our 7 month-old refused to stay asleep when she was meant to be! :-O
