Casual Gamer Chick: Luxor: Amun Rising HD Review

Luxor: Amun Rising HD is the latest Luxor release for the iPad. There is a non-HD version available for the iPhone and iPod as well. The goal of the game is to match three or more of the same color marbles, which causes them to disappear from the board. There is a meter at the top of the screen that fills as the player is making matches. When the bar is full, the player has beat the level and moves on to the next level.

The levels get more difficult as the player progresses. The levels wind around great Egyptian backgrounds. The levels start out fairly easy to shoot the marble and then get more difficult with more bends and less chances to be able to shoot the marble easily.

The player shoots the marble by touching the screen and positions the shooter by dragging their finger on the screen. The player can position the shooter and a little triangle will show up on the balls on the screen. The triangle gives the user an idea of where the ball will land when they shoot it. The triangle is nice because it can be difficult to pin-point where the ball would end up.

The graphics in the game are really nice looking. The graphics are all contain Egyptian themes and are nice and clear and crisp. The graphics give the feel of being in Egypt.

Over all, Luxor: Amun Rising HD is an fun and entertaining game. The levels provide enough challenge to keep the player wanting to beat the next level and the next. If you are looking for a fun and entertaining match three game, check out Luxor: Amun Rising HD.
